Italian director Paolo Virzi has been set to hold filmmaking workshop on the sidelines of the 37th edition of the Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) in Iran.
Virzi is a writer and director, known for ‘Napoleon and Me’, ‘My Name Is Tanino’, and ‘Magical Nights’.
The prominent director has managed to grab more than 70 awards and has received more than 50 nominations for his works at several festivals.
Headed by Iranian filmmaker Reza Mirkarimi, the 37th FIFF will be held in the capital, Tehran, on April 18-26, 2019.
A national version of the Fajr Film Festival (FFF) kicked off on January 30 and wrapped up on February 11.
Since its establishment in 1982, the festival has played vital roles in the development of Iranian Cinema.
